“Tsunami Ready”

The state of Hawai’i is the first “TsunamiReady” state. Through this program, NOAA’s National Weather Service aids communities with the skills and education needed to survive a tsunami before, during and after the event. “TsunamiReady” helps community leaders and emergency managers strengthen their  tsunami operations locally.
