Mission Statement of the Pacific Tsunami Museum

Through education and awareness, we believe that no one should die due to a tsunami. The goals of the Museum are to promote public tsunami education and to preserve history. The Museum serves as a living memorial to those who lost their lives in past tsunami events.

Are you in a Tsunami Evacuation Zone?

Wonder where the tsunami evacuation zone is near you?

NOAA in partnership with the State of Hawaii Civil Defense has developed this map viewer to provide residents and visitors of the State of Hawai'i easy, online access to the State's tsunami evacuation zone maps. Check it out!
