Shinmachi Film Showing and Post Film Discussion

Join the Pacific Tsunami Museum in commemoration of the 1960 Hilo Tsunami. The Museum will be having a special screening of PBS Documentation Shinmachi: Stronger than a Tsunami Film and having a post film presentation and discussion with the topic “What Happened to the Shinmachi Area in Hilo post-tsunami?” by both Dr. Walt Dudley and Cindi Preller.
This event is free to attend. There will be small tapas and refreshments available.
