World Oceans Day 2024
Saturday, June 8th in Kalākaua Park, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Join the Downtown Hilo Museum Square (East Hawai‘i Cultural Center, Hawai‘i Science and Technology Museum, Mokupāpapa Discovery Center, and Pacific Tsunami Museum) for our 3rd annual World Ocean Day event. This is a free family-friendly event aimed at highlighting our kuleana, our responsibility, in caring for our oceans, conservation-related issues, and celebrating our oceans.
World Ocean Day (June 8) is an internationally recognized day of awareness aimed at encouraging people to come together towards restoring and protecting the oceans and ultimately the planet. The 2023 theme is Planet Ocean: Tides Are Changing.
