In celebration of International Tsunami Weekend, the Pacific Tsunami Museum will be having a busy weekend with Three Events!
Black and White Night : Jazz and Java
Friday, Nov 3rd: Doors Open at 6pm, PTM members get in 30 mins earlier at 5:30pm
Limited Seats Available,
Admission is by donation : with suggested donations ranging from $5 to $500
PTM members have early entrance at 5:30pm and free admission!
Paradise Coffee Espresso Nuevo, and decaf and desserts will be available by donation.
This night promises an enticing fusion of soulful jazz music and a vibrant downtown scene. This is a night to immerse yourself in Hilo’s vibrant jazz scene and enjoy the company of fellow music enthusiasts. Seats are first come, first serve. Evening is expected to end around 9pm

Every First Saturday, the Pacific Tsunami Museum puts on a free event for Kama’āina with Valid State ID to visit the museum Free of Cost!
Bring your ‘ohana and immerse yourselves in the rich mo’olelo (stories) shared by our beloved kūpuna who have been directly impacted by Hilo’s tsunamis, International Tsunamis and Natural Hazards.
Local Musician @bigislandlifer will be entertaining with local tunes! You can also enter the ‘Ohana Membership Giveaway to win a Year-long membership for the family!
World Tsunami Awareness Day
Sunday, Nov 5th: 10am – 4pm
Various talks thorough the day with Tsunami Scientists! You will also have the opportunity to preview new items donated to the museum. Admission is free for PTM members!
